Stamped Concrete
Stamped concrete gives you the look of stone, brick, or slate with the strength and price of a poured slab. We pour and base it the same careful way as any flatwork, then stamp the pattern and work in color while the concrete is workable, and seal it once it cures. Sealing protects the color and the surface, and it gets reapplied every couple of years to keep it looking right. It works well on patios, walkways, and entries where you want the surface to look like more than gray concrete.

Patterns, color, and texture
Stamped concrete is poured and based like any flatwork, then stamped with a pattern and worked with color while it is still workable. You can get the look of stone, brick, slate, or wood plank. Color goes in two ways, mixed through the whole slab for a base tone and broadcast or antiqued on top for depth and variation. The texture is pressed in with stamps, so the surface reads like the real material from a few feet away while keeping the strength and price of concrete.
Sealing and keeping it looking right
Stamped concrete gets a sealer once it cures. The sealer protects the color, brings out the depth, and keeps water and stains out of the surface. It wears over time, so it gets reapplied every couple of years to keep the finish looking new. If the surface will get wet, like a pool deck, we add a grip additive to the sealer so it is not slick. We walk you through the upkeep so the patio still looks good years down the road.
