About District Concrete
District Concrete is a concrete contractor based right here in Lafayette. We pour for homeowners, builders, and commercial clients across Acadiana and the rest of Louisiana. Our work covers flatwork, structural concrete, decorative finishes, and the drainage that keeps all of it standing.
We started District Concrete in 2024, but the experience behind the crew runs more than twenty years. We built this company because South Louisiana needed concrete crews that understand the ground they are pouring on. The clay around here is not forgiving. It swells, it shrinks, and it moves with the seasons. Add more than fifty inches of rain a year and a slab built the easy way does not last. We learned to build for that. Compact the base, set the grade, get the water moving away from the structure, put steel where it belongs, and pour a mix that matches the load.
Owner Brian Roy runs the crew and stays on the jobs. When you call, you talk to the people who will be standing on your site, not a call center. We keep the scope clear, we keep you updated, and we stand behind the work after the trucks leave.
From driveways in Youngsville to commercial pads in Lafayette, we treat every pour like it has our name on it, because it does.
How we approach the work
Good concrete is mostly discipline. We compact the base instead of pouring on loose dirt, we set the grade so water drains, we use the steel and the mix strength the job calls for, and we cure the concrete so it reaches full strength instead of drying out too fast. We tool joints where the slab should crack so it does not crack where you do not want it. None of that shows up in a photo on day one, but it is the difference between concrete that lasts twenty years and concrete that fails in three.
Who we work for
We pour for homeowners, for builders, and for commercial clients. A homeowner getting a new driveway or patio, a builder who needs footings and slabs on schedule, a business that needs a parking area or a loading pad poured to spec. The job size changes, but the standard does not. Every pour gets the same base prep, the same attention to drainage, and the same finish work.
Where we work
We are based on Cameron Street in Lafayette and pour across Acadiana, from Broussard and Youngsville to Scott, Carencro, Breaux Bridge, New Iberia, and Abbeville. For larger commercial jobs we travel across the rest of Louisiana. Wherever the job is, you get the same crew and the same standard.
